"An Anthropological Proposal"

The average reader might be interested in the general layout of these anthropological schema's; for instance to get an impression about the difference between the soul and the spirit.

Beginning of this study treating of the body, mind, soul and spirit and their interactions and therefore differences.

Anthropology of personality, consisting of the conscience, will and heart.

Anthropology of the center of personality, consisting of memory, language and consciousness.

Analysis about intra-aspectual links, that is links that go between the inward and outward sides of the 16 basic anthropological aspects.

The following study is for the die hards: An integration of my ethical theology and my theoretical anthropology.

A further integration and elaboration of all these schematic studies is a hopeless task, as the level of complexity is absolutely staggering. Consider for instance that the 32 aspects have 32 microcosms of an indepth level of the second degree only (each aspect having a microcosm of all 32 aspects, totalling 1024 subaspects) with respective anticipations and retrocipations between each other [for instance 'faith power' is a microcosmic aspect within the pistic lawsphere--first degree--being a retrocipation of the second degree; it points back to the physical lawsphere of natural strength. And so the mechanical is a second degree subaspect within the empirical lawsphere that points back to the kinetic and therefore might be called empirical movement].

But if you were to go even deeper, you would have to consider microcosms within microcosms and that means turning the 1024 subaspects into 32768 microcosms, consisting of 1.048.576 sub-subaspects of the third degree (1024 × 32 × 32)!! (For example when you combine the second degree aspect of growth--biological movement--with the second degree aspect of faith power, then you get to the third degree sub-subaspect of the growth of the power of one's faith. You can also combine the latter second degree subaspect with the first degree aspect of movement to talk about the right or wrong movement of somebody's faith power and you have an ethical judgment about a third degree sub-subaspect [third degree referring to the level of understanding]. And when you talk about the direction of the movement or growth of the power of one's faith, then you are talking about a fourth degree aspect; direction itself being a second degree subaspect that combines the perceptional and the kinetic. Hence it could be called perceptional movement; passive when anticipated and active when actually observed).

I am not sure whether or not one should keep multiplying with 32. Perhaps one should keep on squaring. That would not make it 32768 microcosms, but 1.048.576 microcosms with over a quadrillion sub-subaspects of the third degree. In other words, does the subaspect of the mechanical have in turn 32 sub-subaspects, or 1024 sub-subaspects? There is something to be said for both, depending on whether you base the third degree aspects on the original 32 introverted and extraverted first degree aspects, or you base them on the previous outline.

And if you want to combine that again with my theological ethics, then that means charting 320 × 1.048.576 sub-subaspects and sub-subaberrations (or perhaps 320 × over a quadrillion) ... This shows that true virtue is spontaneous and that it comes out of a heart that loves the Lord Jesus. In fact the Lord admonishes us that unless we are as a little child we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. For an intellectual person as I am, this is an enviable task indeed. However, when one grows up and matures in the faith one is to be taught of God. It is one thing to be childlike in the faith, but it is another and sad thing to be a childish adult. It is the Christian art to balance the two: on the one hand to mature into christian adulthood and on the other hand to remain childlike in your belief.
